LEAKS & WATER DAMAGE

CAN WATER DAMAGE A ROOF?

Water can damage a roof from leaks. Water damage from a roof leak doesn’t just create ugly spots on the ceiling and walls. Moisture leads to mold, and mold spreads. Worse, mold can be deadly, so it’s important to prevent it from growing from the start.

To prevent everything all together, it is important that your roof is inspected regularly, to ensure that there is no damage. These ruptures can be caused by hail, trees & branches, and much more. Schedule your free 20 point inspection today.

WHAT DOES HAIL DAMAGE LOOK LIKE?

One of the most reliable early warning signs of a roof leak is the appearance of spots on your interior ceilings. Often, the spots look like brown stains in the shape of puddles, with faint rings around the edges of the stain. Such spots may gather in the center of the ceiling, but you should pay special attention to corners and alcoves where they are more likely to be missed.

Unsurprisingly, the most obvious way to know if my roof is leaking is to check for drippage. Make sure to check the attic as your first port of call.

If you notice a wet roof deck or can hear a dripping sound in the walls of your home, it is likely that you have a leak.
